When you create a secret link, your data is encrypted and stored in our database along with a unique secret key. This key is used to generate a one-time URL. Here’s how the process works:
- Data Encryption: When you submit your secret, it is encrypted using AES-256-CBC encryption and stored in our secure database.
- Unique URL Generation: A unique URL containing the secret key is generated for you to share with the recipient.
- Secure Access: When the recipient accesses the URL, the system decrypts the data using the secret key and displays the information.
- One-Time View: After the secret is accessed, the URL is invalidated, ensuring that the information can only be accessed once. If the link is accessed more than twice, it is permanently deleted from the database.
Why Is It Important to Send Passwords and Sensitive Data Encrypted?

Expiration Links for Security
Our service allows you to set an expiration time for your secret links, ranging from 1 hour to 7 days. Once the link expires, the data is automatically deleted from our database, ensuring that your information remains secure.
Additional Security Measures
We also track the number of times a link is accessed. If a link is accessed more than twice, it is forcefully invalidated and the data is deleted. This prevents any unauthorized or repeated access to your sensitive information, further ensuring that your secrets remain safe.
